Doug Fullaway

Doug graduated from Oregon State University and served four years as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps holding positions as rifle platoon commander, battalion adjutant for 1st Battalion / 3rd Marines and then as the Assistant G-1 for the First Marine Brigade all in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He then moved on to the Harvard Business School and returned to Oregon to work for the test and measurement company Tektronix. The big adventure began as he joined a startup, Mentor Graphics and saw it grow from 14 people to 3,000 people over 10 years giving him the opportunity to take his family to live in The Netherlands and Singapore. He moved to software testing and then the networking business before he got hooked on senior living in 2002 when he joined a then failing software company. He helped lead Vigilan, eventually as the CEO, to become the largest U.S. supplier of care management software for assisted living. The company was acquired and he joined the large national company RealPage for four years as the VP of Business Development. He is currently President of FourteenPlus, LLC, a company that helps senior living operators raise funds to drive their growth. He loves to fly fish, ski and fly. His father was a Marine during WWII and his son is currently a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps.
