Brittney Schmitz currently serves as Program Manager at Veterans Community Project, where responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality and monitoring merchandise, in addition to previous roles as Executive Assistant to various C-suite executives within the organization. Brittney is also the Vice President at Bravo Bravo Que and has experience as a Project Coordinator at Bernstein-Rein Advertising, where event management and product distribution were key duties. Previous positions include Office Manager at Envision Studio, Inc., where project management and accounting tasks were performed, and Project Manager at KRK Petroleum Engineering Solutions, overseeing operations for fueling terminals. Brittney’s early career involved legal administrative tasks as KC Branch Manager at Holland & Holland at Law. Education includes ongoing studies in General Studies at Metropolitan Community College and a high school diploma from Northwest High School.

Veterans Community Project (VCP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ending Veteran homelessness by providing transitional-housing, wrap-around support services, and emergency assistance. Headquartered in Kansas City, MO, VCP uses Kansas City as the blueprint for achieving similar success in its expansion to cities across the United States, with the long-term goal of eliminating Veteran homelessness nationwide. VCP is a team of connectors, feelers, and doers on a mission to help our kin, our kind. We move with swift, bold action, always motivated to serve with compassion. We took an oath to serve all who served us by dedicating our time and careers to eradicating Veteran homelessness in Kansas City.
