Veterans Community Project
Jason Kander has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Jason served as President of National Expansion for Veterans Community Project, where they focused on providing housing and support services to veterans. Additionally, they were the Podcast Host for Majority54, a show aimed at promoting progress and combating misinformation. As the Founder of Afghan Rescue Project, they played a crucial role in evacuating at-risk individuals from Afghanistan. Kander also founded Let America Vote, an organization dedicated to fighting for voting rights. Earlier in their career, they held positions as the Secretary of State and State Representative for the State of Missouri. Jason also worked as a Trial Attorney at Barnes Law Firm and served as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve.
Jason Kander completed their education with a High School Diploma from Bishop Miege High School in 1999. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from American University, which they completed in 2002. Jason then attended Georgetown University Law Center and obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in 2005.

Veterans Community Project (VCP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ending Veteran homelessness by providing transitional-housing, wrap-around support services, and emergency assistance. Headquartered in Kansas City, MO, VCP uses Kansas City as the blueprint for achieving similar success in its expansion to cities across the United States, with the long-term goal of eliminating Veteran homelessness nationwide. VCP is a team of connectors, feelers, and doers on a mission to help our kin, our kind. We move with swift, bold action, always motivated to serve with compassion. We took an oath to serve all who served us by dedicating our time and careers to eradicating Veteran homelessness in Kansas City.
