Toshua Jarrett

Chief Development Officer at Veterans Leadership Program

Toshua Jarrett has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Toshua began their career in 2006 as a Manager Trainee at 84 Lumber, where they supervised a team and managed sales leads and inventories. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as the Director of Development and Public Relations at St. Anne Home, where they composed publicity materials and coordinated fundraising efforts. In 2009, Toshua joined the US Army as a Combat Medic, providing guidance and managing junior medics while also handling administrative tasks. Since 2014, they have been working as the Chief Development Officer at the Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania, where they play an integral role in planning and executing fundraising strategies, as well as coordinating community events for fundraising and veteran employment.

Toshua Jarrett completed a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership at Robert Morris University from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications from Seton Hill University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Toshua'shigh school education was completed at Marion Center High School from 1998 to 2002. Apart from their formal education, Toshua Jarrett has also obtained several certifications. In June 2022, they acquired the "SkillsBuild - Customer Engagement: Problem Solving and Process Controls" certification from IBM. In May 2021, they completed the "Explorations into Mindfulness" certification offered by the Veterans Leadership Program. Additionally, in January 2020, they became a Certified Practitioner through the LUMA Institute.
