Asle Haukaas

Asle Haukaas is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at Veterinærinstituttet since March 2015, Asle previously held the position of Senior Adviser at the Research Council of Norway, focusing on communications and research dissemination. A notable tenure as Corporate Relations Manager and later as Director of Communications at the Norwegian School of Economics involved developing corporate partnerships and advancing research communications. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Chairman of IL Sandviken and as a Board Member for forskning.no. Asle's early career included significant roles in communication management for prestigious institutions such as the European University Association and the University of Bergen. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from the Norwegian School of Economics and a cand mag in Anthropology and Political Science from the University of Bergen.
