Erin Spencer

Erin Spencer is an accomplished veterinary professional with extensive experience in veterinary nursing and education. Currently serving as the Director of Veterinary Nursing Development at Veterinary Emergency Group since February 2021, Erin also oversees and educates veterinary students as a Certified Veterinary Technician with Rural Area Veterinary Services. As the owner of Brown Dog Consulting, Erin provides consulting and training to veterinary support staff, enhancing medical care efficiency. Past roles include a Certified Veterinary Technician at BluePearl Veterinary Partners, Assistant Professor at Mount Ida College, and volunteer coordinator with HSVMA-RAVS, among others. Erin holds a Master’s in Adult Education and Training from Colorado State University, a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and an Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology from North Shore Community College.
