Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group
Rachel Price is a dedicated veterinarian currently employed at the Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group since June 2022. With a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree obtained from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2022, Rachel has a solid foundation in veterinary medicine. Prior to this role, Rachel gained experience at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, serving as a Laboratory Assistant from January 2017 to January 2023, and previously as a Research Assistant and Transfer Assistant during their educational journey. Rachel also holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Miami, completed in 2017, and attended Suffolk County Community College from 2013 to 2014.
Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group
The primary veterinarian is requested to alert VERG that an emergency case is being sent to our hospital from their office if possible. Should your hospital or clinic be closed during certain hours or on certain holidays, VERG will accept your pets if your primary veterinarian is unavailable. Patients referred for emergency treatment or care willbe referred back to their primary veterinarian for continued care, upon the completion of treatment at VERG.
