Katie Bennett

Katie Bennett is a Veterinary Anesthesiologist at Veterinary Specialty Center, where the role has been held since August 2019. Prior experience includes serving as an Anesthesiology Resident at the University of Tennessee from July 2016 to July 2019, with focus on large and small animals and proficiency in diverse species. Katie also completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Washington State University, contributing to emergency and critical care while engaging in research on anesthetic protocols. Previous roles include Veterinary Assistant positions at Horse and Hound Veterinary Clinic and Bristol County Animal Clinic, and experience as a Veterinary Research Technician with Pfizer Animal Health. Katie holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University, earned in 2015, and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from the same institution.
