Michael Picones

Michael Picones is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Commercial Finance Manager in the Mergers & Acquisitions Division at VetPartners Australia and New Zealand since November 2019. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Senior Adviser in the Deals Tax and Legal Division at KPMG from June 2016 to October 2019. Michael began their career as an Assistant Manager at Cotton On Group from November 2014 to February 2017. Academically, Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from UNSW, completed between 2012 and 2015, and obtained the International Baccalaureate Diploma from St Paul's Grammar School Penrith in 2010. Additionally, Michael is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, having pursued education in this field from 2016 to 2018.
