Kyle Johnston

Kyle Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. Kyle is currently working as a Senior Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer at VETRO FiberMap® since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at CashStar from October 2016 to February 2021, holding roles such as Senior DevOps Engineer and IT Engineer. In 2016, they also worked as a Freelance Web Developer for The Committee to Elect Seth Baker. Before that, they worked at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant from August 2014 to May 2016. Kyle's early work experience includes an internship at Ely Library from August 2013 to December 2013.

Kyle Johnston attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2014 to 2016, where they studied English literature. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English literature from Westfield State University, completing their degree in 2014. In September 2018, Kyle obtained a certification as a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) from Red Hat.
