Joellen Fitzgerald has worked in various roles in the field of international student affairs since 2003. Joellen began their career at The College of Wooster as an Administrative Intern in the Office of International Student Affairs. In 2004, they moved to the University of Illinois Chicago where they worked as a Visiting Resource and Policy Analyst for the Office of International Services. In 2006, they joined Benedictine University as a Program Assistant/Immigration Specialist in the International Programs Office. In 2007, they began working at DePaul University, first as an Advisor for the Office for International Students and Scholars, then as the Assistant Director of the same office. In 2021, they joined the Mount Prospect School District 57 as a Clerical Assistant for the Westbrook School for Young Learners. Most recently, in 2022, they began working at VettaFi | Advisor Perspectives as a Digital Media Coordinator.
Joellen Fitzgerald earned a Master of Arts in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute between 2005 and 2007. Joellen obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Spanish from Beloit College between 1999 and 2003.
