Matthias Scheiner

Matthias Scheiner is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and pharmaceutical production, currently serving as TL Pharmaceutical Production at Vetter Pharma since October 2025. Prior to this role, Matthias worked as a Chemiker GMP at ABX advanced biochemical compounds GmbH, and as Director of Chemistry and Senior Scientist Chemistry at DyNAbind GmbH, where responsibilities included designing DNA-encoded libraries for drug discovery and overseeing small molecule synthesis projects. Additionally, Matthias held a postdoctoral fellowship at RTI International, focusing on the synthesis of novel antibiotic scaffolds and conducting quality assessments. Early in the career, Matthias contributed to anticoagulant design and natural product synthesis during a postdoctoral position at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. Matthias holds a Dr. rer. nat. from the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, a Master of Science in Natural Products and Drug Chemistry from the University of Bayreuth, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg.
