Maximilian Simm

Maximilian Simm is an experienced professional in pharmaceutical production, currently serving as Head of Production at Vetter Pharma since October 2016. Simm has held various leadership roles, including Deputy Head of Production and Manager of Pharmaceutical Production, where responsibilities included managing a team of over 30 employees and contributing to process optimization for biopharmaceutical products. Prior to Vetter Pharma, Simm gained valuable experience as a Master Thesis Student at Technische Universität München, focusing on the production of recombinant spider silk protein, and held roles in biotechnological research at Eugenex Biotechnologies GmbH. Simm holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Bioprocess Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Fachhochschule Biberach.
