Stefan Altaner is a Manager of Project Analytics at Vetter Pharma since September 2019, responsible for cross-functional management of projects related to new starting materials, analytics/method transfer, quality control, and regulatory affairs in compliance with cGMP standards. Prior to this role, Stefan was a PhD student at the University of Konstanz from May 2014 to July 2019, focusing on the risk assessment of cyanobacterial microcystins and overseeing the research of bachelor and master students while contributing to scientific publications and conference presentations. Additional experience includes a position as a Visiting Scientist at Cawthron Institute in 2016 and participation in a voluntary ecological year at FUG Fernwärme Ulm GmbH from September 2007 to August 2008. Stefan holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from the University of Konstanz, completed in 2013 and 2011 respectively, with a specialization in Disease Biology.
