Heath Boddy has extensive experience in senior living and healthcare administration. Heath started their career in 1992 as an Administrator at El Dorado Manor, where they were responsible for the operation and administration of a skilled nursing and assisted living facility. Heath then worked as an Administrator at Rose Lane Home, Village Manor, and Gold Crest Retirement Center, gaining experience in financial management, strategic planning, human resources, marketing, public relations, quality improvement, and regulatory management. In 1996, they joined the Nebraska Health Care Association as the Director of Assisted Living and Contracted Services, where they played a key role in developing state and national contracts for long-term care services. In 2010, Boddy became the President and CEO of Nebraska Health Care, Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, LPN and Hospice Associations, a position they held until 2021. Heath then joined Vetter Senior Living as the Chief Business Development Officer, later becoming the Chief Operations Officer in July 2022.

Heath Boddy has a diverse education history. Heath first attended Elkhorn from 1975 to 1987, where they studied General Studies. Following that, they enrolled in Southeast Community College from 1991 to 1993 and obtained an Associate's degree in Nursing Home Administration. Later, they attended Bellevue University from 2006 to 2008 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Care Administration. Additionally, it is known that Heath Boddy holds a certification as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator from the State of Nebraska, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
