Hani Goodarzi is a distinguished researcher currently serving as a Core Investigator at the Arc Institute since January 2024 and as an Associate Professor at the University of California, San Francisco, since May 2016. With a focus on Systems Biology, Cancer Genomics, and Machine Learning, Hani has also held the position of Assistant Professor specializing in Systems Cancer Biology, Translational Genomics, and Computational Biology. Hani co-founded Exai Bio and Vevo Therapeutics and holds advisory roles at Sardona Therapeutics, Deep Forest Sciences, and Verge Genomics. Previous experience includes postdoctoral fellowships at Rockefeller University and Columbia University. Hani obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from the University of Tehran.
