John Ruthven

John Ruthven has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John is currently serving as the Director at Veyor since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of CEO at IR starting from July 2019. From September 2017 to June 2019, they worked as the Operating Officer - Global Sales at TechnologyOne, where they managed revenue accountability for all sales channels and led a transformation of the function and headcount in the company.

Before that, John Ruthven was associated with SAP from May 2015 to April 2017 as the President & Managing Director, ANZ. John also served as the Chief Operating Officer, ANZ and SVP Cloud & Line-of-Business, Asia Pacific & Japan during their tenure. From July 2012 to November 2013, they worked at Zuora, Inc. as the SVP, International Sales and Vice President, Asia Pacific, where they led the international offices and achieved significant growth and new customer wins.

John Ruthven's prior experience includes their tenure at CA Technologies, where they held several leadership positions. These roles include GM & Managing Director, Growth & Emerging Markets from November 2009 to July 2011, EVP, Global Sales Operations from April 2007 to October 2009, SVP, Global Sales Operations from June 2006 to March 2007, and SVP & GM, Asia Pacific & Japan from June 2004 to May 2006. John also worked at Computer Associates, Inc., where they held various positions, including Managing Director, Pacific and Regional Manager.

Throughout their career, John Ruthven has demonstrated strong leadership skills, driving business growth, establishing franchise businesses, and leading the re-engineering of sales organizations. John has a proven track record of achieving successful turnarounds, doubling headcounts, and securing significant customer wins.

John Ruthven completed the Australian Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2017. Prior to that, they attended Harvard Business School and studied Global Strategic Management, completing their studies in 2009. In 1994, John obtained a post-graduate degree in Management from Charles Sturt University. John began their education journey in 1982 at Avondale University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Education in 1987. Additionally, John obtained certifications in Managing Subsidiaries from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and in SAP Executive Leadership Course from SAP, both in 2016.
