Ricky Koo

Ricky Koo has over 20 years of work experience, beginning in 2000 as a Network Administrator at Ericsson. In 2003, they began working at the University of Maryland as a Pattern Software Developer/Research Assistant, and also worked as an Enterprise Infrastructure Technician at McCormick & Company and Co-founder, President at Hearts for D.C. In 2005, they were a Software Test Engineer II at Innovative Concepts. From 2006 to 2014, they held multiple roles at VMware, including Senior Quality Engineer - Tech Lead. For the past eight years, they have been at Nutanix, most recently as the Sr. Engineering Manager and Sr. Automation/Tool Developer. Ricky is currently the Director of Engineering - Automation and Quality at Veza.

Ricky Koo holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
