Amir Barsoum is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the health technology and venture capital sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Managing Partner at InVitro Capital since October 2023, Amir focuses on building and scaling AI-driven solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in HealthTech, FinTech, Sales & Marketing, and HR. Amir founded Vezeeta in 2012, a digital health-tech leader that has improved access to quality care for over 10 million patients. Additionally, Amir holds the position of Co-Founder and Chairman at Curenta while serving on the Investment Committee of Moonbase Capital since April 2023. Previously, Amir worked at AstraZeneca as MENA Strategy Manager and MENA Business Development Manager from 2010 to 2012, and Amir began their career as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company from 2008 to 2010. Amir holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master's degree from The American University in Cairo, along with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Studies from Ain Shams University.
