Nonso Okpala

Nonso Okpala has a strong background in finance and has held several key roles in reputable organizations. Nonso started their career as an Audit Senior at KPMG Nigeria, where they worked on large bank engagements. From there, they joined BGL Plc as a Corporate Finance Associate, where they conducted industry and client-specific research and structured deals for clients. Nonso also served as a Special Assistant to the Director, assisting in the supervision of BGL's subsidiaries. Nonso later joined Heirs Holdings as the Chief Finance Officer, overseeing financial matters for the company. Currently, they are the Group Managing Director/CEO at VFD Group Plc.

Nonso Okpala has a strong education history, with notable achievements in the field of accounting and marketing. From 1999 to 2003, Nonso studied at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Marketing. Following this, Nonso pursued further education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria from 2005 to 2008, where they became a member and obtained the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) certification.
