Vítor Baptista

Vítor Baptista has a diverse work experience in various software development roles. Vítor started their career as a Summer Trainee at Câmara Municipal do Funchal in 2015, where they managed databases and repaired computers. In 2016, they worked as a Technical Assistant at M-ITI, developing a smart energy socket and integrating text-to-speech technologies into a community radio platform. Vítor later joined ACIF - SMILE H2020 as a Contractor Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented a platform for tracking and simulating energy consumption behaviors. In 2017, they joined Connecting Software as a Software Developer, where they maintained and improved software components across different technologies and implemented a new CI/CD pipeline. Most recently, they joined VFX Financial PLC in 2022 as a Core Developer.

Vítor Baptista's education history begins with their high school education at Escola Secundária de Francisco Franco from 2010 to 2013, where they studied Science and Technology. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics Engineering at Universidade da Madeira from 2013 to 2016. Following their undergraduate studies, Vítor continued their education at the same university, earning a Master's Degree in Informatics Engineering from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Vítor has also obtained several certifications. In June 2019, they received a certification in Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications from Microsoft. Later on, in June 2020, Vítor obtained a certification in Advanced Distributed Systems Design using SOA & DDD from Particular Software. Most recently, in March 2023, they acquired multiple certifications related to Auth0, including Auth0 Consumer Application Implementation Champion, Auth0 Consumer Application Operations Champion, Auth0 Consumer Application Prototype Champion, and Auth0 Specialist. The certification details highlight Vítor's ongoing commitment to expanding their knowledge and expertise in the field of technology.
