James Lai

James Lai has accumulated extensive experience in data analytics and science, currently serving as the Data & Analytics Lead at VGW since October 2017, where additional roles have included Acting Insights Lead and Data Science Analyst. Prior to VGW, James held the position of Data Science Instructional Associate at General Assembly from February 2018 to October 2019 and worked as a Data Analyst at Danone from August 2014 to August 2017. Previous roles also include BI Analyst at Sutton Group and Strategy Planner at Starcom, with early experience as a Marketing Department Teaching Assistant at the University of Auckland. James Lai holds a Master of Commerce in Marketing Research & Statistics from The University of Auckland, a Data Science Immersive degree from General Assembly, and has achieved a Mastery Level in the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language from National Taiwan Normal University.
