Rimma Shafikova

Rimma Shafikova is a highly experienced professional in data science and engineering, currently holding the position of Senior Data Scientist at VGW since March 2017. Rimma has also served as an Analyst Programmer and R&D Engineer at Racing & Wagering WA since September 2014, and worked as a Research Associate at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology from September 2012 to July 2014, contributing to significant multidisciplinary projects, including the development of a low-cost LCD mask 3D printer and upgrades of stereolithography machines. Prior experience includes a role as a Chinese Text Resource Specialist and group leader at ABBYY, focusing on algorithm training and database development. Rimma holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and an Engineer's Degree in Information Technology from Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
