Tracey Turriff

Tracey Turriff is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and public relations. Currently serving as Director of Communications at VHA Home HealthCare since March 2019, Tracey leads internal and external communication strategies and engagement initiatives. Tracey has also been freelancing since August 2018. Prior roles include SVP of Corporate Communications and VP of Publicity at Penguin Random House Canada, where responsibilities encompassed driving corporate communications, managing government relations, and overseeing national PR strategies that contributed to successful book sales. Earlier experience at Random House of Canada Limited as Senior Vice President, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications involved executing change management and media relations while managing a large team. Tracey is pursuing a Master of Arts in Communications with a specialization in Health Communications at the University of Ottawa, and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from Queen's University.
