Georgia McCullough JD, MPH, RN has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Georgia began their career in the healthcare field as a Registered Nurse at Kaiser Permanente and Cedars-Sinai, gaining valuable clinical experience. Georgia then transitioned to legal roles, working as an Attorney at Bonne Bridges Mueller O'Keefe & Nichols, specializing in medical malpractice defense and other areas of law. Georgia continued their legal career as a Health Law Attorney at Stephenson Acquisto & Colman and later became a Sr. Risk Manager and Patient Safety Specialist at Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc. In this role, they provided guidance on adverse medical outcomes and assisted physicians in disclosure meetings with patients and families. McCullough then served as a Clinical Risk Manager at MemorialCare Health Services, leading patient safety efforts and conducting root cause analyses. Georgia then went on to earn a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1990. In 1997, they completed their JD degree at Whittier Law School. Finally, in 2017, Georgia obtained a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In addition to their education, Georgia has also obtained various certifications, including a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) from the American Hospital Association in 2012 and nursing licenses in California and Virginia. Georgia is also a member of the Bar Associations in California and the District of Columbia.
