Robin Adams has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and positions. They started their career in 1995 at Children's National Health System, working in planning and strategy until 2000. From 2001 to 2012, they held multiple roles at Inova Health System, including Director of Planning and Chief Growth Officer. In 2010, they worked as a Guest Lecturer at George Mason University until 2015. In 2012, they joined Sentara Healthcare in Market Development until 2016. In the same year, they joined URAC as Vice President of Strategy and Product Development, holding the position until 2023. From 2016 to 2023, they also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at George Mason University. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President of Business Development at VHC Health starting in 2023.
Robin Adams has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Cornell University, which was obtained from 1983 to 1987. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Human/Medical Genetics from Georgetown University, spanning from 1991 to 1992. In 2001, Robin Adams completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech, finishing in 2004. Finally, they participated in the Advisory Board Fellowship Program for Healthcare Leadership from 2007 to 2008, earning a Fellowship.
