VHD verzorgt naast voertuig- en personenhulp onder meer hulpverlening bij calamiteiten op reis, medische problemen of voorvallen in of om de woning en verzorgt 24 uurs bereikbaarheid en facilitaire dienstverlening voor o.a: verzekeringsmaatschappijen, volmachtkantoren, expertisebureau’s, woningbouwverenigingen, winkelketens, autofabrikanten, autoleasebedrijven, zorginstellingen, overige bedrijven en overheidsinstanties.

VHD, gevestigd te Deventer, is een 100% Nederlandse organisatie en netwerkpartner van de internationale Europ Assistance Group, welke laatste is opgericht in 1963 en actief is in ruim 200 landen.

Op de vestiging in Deventer werken zo'n 200 mensen, waarvan het merendeel als hulpverlener. Wij zijn 24 uur per dag, zeven dagen per week geopend. Door niet verbonden te zijn aan één specifieke verzekeraar, zorginstelling, vereniging of stichting kan VHD absolute  onafhankelijkheid garanderen.
