Erica D. Etterling

Erica D. Etterling serves as the Rental Compliance Support Manager for the Compliance & Asset Management Department at Virginia Housing since September 2017. Prior to this role, Erica D. Etterling worked at the Georgia Department of Community Affairs in various capacities, including Portfolio Compliance Manager and Program Specialist in Portfolio Management from November 2013 to August 2017. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Compliance Services at Columbia Residential from May 2007 to May 2013, where management of 4-5 staff and a portfolio of over 5,000 units across multiple states was achieved, ensuring compliance with complex affordable housing regulations. Additional roles included Regional Compliance Specialist at LEDIC Management Group from December 2001 to March 2007, overseeing compliance for affordable housing communities across ten states, and Project Manager at Buehler Enterprises, Inc. from March 1995 to November 2001, where involvement in the Tennessee Housing Tax Credit Application process and community engagement took place.
