Nicole T.

Nicole T. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 17 years. Nicole started their career as an Assistant Buyer at Hecht's/Strawbridges in 2000, specializing in children's wear. Nicole then moved on to Circuit City Corp., where they served as a Strategic Sourcing Manager and later as a Merchandise Buyer for impulse and consumables. In 2009, Nicole founded their own company, Ripe Purchasing, where they achieved significant cost reductions for clients through strategic sourcing initiatives.

Nicole's career then transitioned to the financial industry, working at Capital One as a VISA/MasterCard Relationship Manager and later as a Senior Manager, Category Manager, specializing in digital supplier management. Nicole then joined Altria as a Supply Chain Professional, focusing on direct materials and new technologies procurement.

Currently, Nicole is the Enterprise Head of Procurement at Virginia Housing. In this role, they lead the Procurement Team and has successfully improved the department's reputation and efficiency. Nicole is responsible for strategic sourcing, cost analysis, contract negotiations, and supplier diversity. Nicole also collaborates with various departments to ensure operational objectives are protected from risks.
