Salathia Johnson

Salathia Johnson has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Salathia is currently working at Virginia Housing as an Associate Chief-Legal, where they help Virginians achieve quality and affordable housing. Before that, they served as a Financial Coach/Consultant at Key Financial Solution, Inc. In 2019, they worked as the Director of Grants and Data Management at YWCA Richmond. From 2017 to 2019, they held the position of Director Of Development at Area Congregations Together in Service. Lastly, they worked for Virginia Supportive Housing from 2000 to 2017 as the Program Manager of Housing and Income Supports.

Salathia Johnson holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Community and Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate and Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University from an unspecified starting year to 2000. Additionally, they completed the Grace E. Harris Higher Ground Women's Leadership Institute at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006 and the Grace E. Harris Minority Political Leadership Institute at the same institution in 2010. Most recently, in 2021, Johnson completed an Inclusive Fundraising Fellowship at the Association of Fundraising Professionals Central Virginia Chapter in 2021.
