VHLGenetics
Vaibhav Mahilang is currently an Internship Trainee at VHLGenetics, focusing on breed determination tests using machine learning for pure and mixed breed dogs. Since September 2018, involvement with WorldFish as a student has taken place, alongside a master's thesis project with the European Union from September 2022 to February 2023, which examined G*E interaction on sea bream for growth and fat content effects. Previous internship experience includes several roles at various research institutes in fisheries, from November 2017 to February 2018. Vaibhav holds a Master’s Degree in Animal Sciences with a specialization in Genetics and Breeding from Wageningen University & Research (2018-2020) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science from the College of Fisheries (2014-2018).
