Matthijs Burlage

Matthijs Burlage has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matthijs is currently working as a Solution Engineer at VI Company, where they collaborate with clients in the financial and capital markets to develop websites and applications that align with their needs and internal processes. Prior to this, they served as a Customer Success Manager at Relatics, where they guided the consultancy process and focused on maintaining and increasing customer loyalty within the construction industry. Matthijs also worked as an Account Manager at Sement BV, where they provided tailor-made staffing solutions and fostered long-term relationships with clients in the architecture and engineering sectors. Matthijs has experience in the travel industry as well, having worked as an Account Manager and Business Travel Consultant at ATPI, where they served a wide range of clients and ensured a smooth travel booking experience. Before that, they held the role of Crew Scheduler, Training Coordinator & Staff Travel Agent at TUI Nederland, where they were responsible for creating flight schedules for the flight and cabin crew. Matthijs started their career at Schiphol Airport as a Lead Agent for British Airways at Servisair, where they ensured a seamless travel experience for passengers. Matthijs also gained experience as an Event Organizer (Intern) at BlackBrooke Institute.

Matthijs Burlage obtained their Bachelor of Economics degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Inholland University of Applied Sciences between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, they attended Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2002 to 2004, studying Physical Therapy/Therapist. In 2017, they also obtained a certification in VCU/VCA from PBNA.
