Veronica Escalera-Ibarra

Veronica Escalera-Ibarra is a strategic planner with extensive experience in urban planning and real estate, currently serving as Strategic Planner III and Real Estate Coordinator at VIA Metropolitan Transit since January 2022. Prior roles include Real Estate Representative at the San Antonio River Authority and various positions within the American Planning Association, where significant leadership responsibilities were undertaken. Veronica has a background in legal assistance, having worked at multiple law firms, and is equipped with a Master of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from The University of Texas at San Antonio, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Our Lady of the Lake University.
