W. Maurice Bridges

W. Maurice Bridges has a strong background in diversity and inclusion, with experience in various leadership roles. Most recently, they served as the President of COMTO San Antonio and as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Masters Leadership Program of Greater San Antonio. Prior to that, they worked at VIA Metropolitan Transit as the Director of Business/Supplier Diversity and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Liaison Officer. W. Maurice has also held advisory board positions at the Texas Diversity Council, the Maestro Entrepreneur Center, and the South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency. Before their involvement in these organizations, Bridges was the President of Bridges Consulting, where they led a team of management consultants and helped improve diversity and inclusion in fortune 500 companies and government agencies. Other notable positions include Senior Diversity Consultant at Principal Financial Group and Director of Supplier Diversity at Baltimore Gas and Electric.

W. Maurice Bridges has a history of pursuing education to enhance their professional development. From 1975 to 1979, they attended North Carolina Central University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration. In 1995, they pursued executive education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, NC. The field of study pertaining to this program is not specified. In the following year, 1996, they furthered their executive education at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Again, the degree obtained is unspecified. As of 2022, W. Maurice Bridges is currently enrolled in Morgan State University, where they are pursuing a Certified Compliance Administrator designation. Additionally, they obtained a Contract Compliance Administrator certification from Morgan State University in August 2022.
