Romeo Alvin Lopez has a strong background in engineering and process management. Romeo Alvin is currently the Operation and Engineering Head at VIA optronics since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr. Engineering Manager at Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. (IMI Global) from July 2021 to October 2023. In this role, they were responsible for executing engineering build plans and handling process improvement. Before that, they held the position of Process Engineering Manager / New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager at Psi Technologies semiconductor from March 2017 to October 2023. Here, they focused on producing communication strategies, executing plans, and resolving development issues. Romeo Alvin also worked as a Manager / Process & New Product Development Engineering Head at Panasonic Precision Devices Philippines Corporation (PPRDPH) from October 2014 to February 2017. Additionally, they served as a Manager / Research and Development Manager and Manager / Project Business Devt Head at PPRDPH from September 2012 to September 2014 and September 2011 to September 2012, respectively. In these roles, they introduced various value engineering models, managed teams, and conducted project planning and risk assessment. Romeo Alvin Lopez began their career as a Process Engg Supervisor and Process Engineer at PPRDPH from June 2006 to September 2011.

Romeo Alvin Lopez attended Saint Peter College from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Romeo Alvin also obtained a certification as an Electronic and Communication Engineer from the Philippines Regulatory Commission of Electronics Communication Engineering in October 2005. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Process Doctors Academy in July 2020 and a Green Belt Certification from VIA Optronics in August 2023.
