Lior Gerenstein is the Chief R&D Officer at Via, a company that provides on-demand transit solutions. Lior was previously the CTO & Co-Founder of Fleetonomy, a company that developed a next generation fleet management solution, and before that, the Sr. Software Engineering Lead at Screenovate Technologies ltd., a company that was acquired by Intel.

Lior has a wealth of experience in managing complex projects involving software and hardware, working closely with top tier OEMs, ODMs and SoC vendors including Dell, Lenovo, Qualcomm, Intel, Broadcom, Nvidia, Qisda and others. Lior is also experienced in researching and developing in various programming languages including C++, JAVA, Python, C# and JS. In addition, they have experience in security strategy and implementing security and encryption methods in products.

Lior Gerenstein attended Tel Aviv University, where they earned a B.Sc in Computer Science.

Lior Gerenstein reports to Daniel Ramot, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Saar Golde - Chief Data Scientist, Asaf Barzilay - SVP, Products/Projects, and Frances Cooperman - CMO.
