Shahar Chen

Shahar Chen has had a varied work experience. Shahar began their career in 2004 as a Research Team Leader in the Israel Defense Forces until 2009. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Summer intern at the IBM Research Labs. In 2014, they were a Research Intern at Yahoo. Shahar then joined Technion - Israel Institute of Technology as a Teaching Assistant from 2009 to 2015. Since 2015, they have been with Via, starting as an Algorithm Developer and progressing to Algorithms Team Leader, Director of Algorithms, and currently holds the position of VP Algorithms.

Shahar Chen received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Shahar then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, completing their studies from 2009 to 2015.
