JD Parker has worked in the technology and healthcare industries since 2020. In 2021, they began working as a Robotics Software Engineer - Computer Vision at ViaBot, where they collaborated with other engineers to develop firmware and hardware solutions for the startup's Runo 3.0 and Runo 4.0 robots. Prior to this, they worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Reveal Healthcare in 2020, where they developed Convolutional LSTM models in Python for natural language processing in the form of classifying and scoring dialogue from telehealth visits. JD also worked closely with engineers and healthcare professionals to define scoring criteria for telehealth conversations and help develop AI driven analytics tools for a post-COVID-19 healthcare industry.

JD Parker received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, graduating in 2020.
