Koen Vermeulen

Koen Vermeulen is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as Group CIO and Senior Vice President of Orange Innovation IT & Services at Orange since April 2012, Koen has also held the position of CIO and IT Transformation Director. In addition to ongoing responsibilities at Orange, Koen is a board member at Viaccess-Orca, TM Forum, and SoftAtHome, all of which began in April 2021. Previously, Koen was with Belgacom Group from October 1998 to April 2012, holding roles as IT Director for Business Support Systems and IT Director. Prior experience includes a consultant position at Computer Sciences Corporation from August 1993 to October 1998. Koen holds a degree in Handelsingenieur Informatica from KU Leuven, earned between 1988 and 1993.
