Colin Hunt

Colin Hunt has been working in the software engineering industry since 2013. Colin started as a Software Developer Intern at Pason in 2013, where they worked on a project building a set of distributed Java services using SOA and Service Discovery to perform drilling data analysis, storage, and retrieval. Colin then moved up to an Intermediate Software Developer role at Pason in 2015, where they worked as a Full-Stack developer building services and web applications using Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML5, and CSS, which were backed by MySQL and NoSQL databases, and run on Linux platforms using SOA and deployed in AWS. Colin was also the team lead responsible for finishing the HFLL drilling-data project. In 2021, they joined Viafoura as a Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer.

Colin Hunt attended the University of Alberta from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Computing Science with a Business Minor and Industrial Internship Program. Colin also holds a certification from Code School titled "Powering Up With React".
