Raul Garcia Martinez

Raul Garcia Martinez has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership roles within the technology and development sector. Raul served as the Director of Technology and Development at Viakable, where they oversaw the company's technological advancements. Prior to this, they held the position of Director at Viakable Tech Center.

Raul also had an extensive tenure at Whirlpool Corporation, starting as the Director of the Refrigeration Technology Center. In this role, they led a team of over 150 employees to ensure excellence in product quality, cost, innovation, and strategy for refrigeration products. Raul later became the Director of Marketing Product Development, responsible for understanding customer preferences and leading the development of new products. Lastly, Raul served as the Director of the Product Development Center and Projects Execution, where they managed the engineering development and cross-functional project leadership for new products manufactured in Whirlpool's Mexican plants.

Before joining Whirlpool Corporation, Raul held the roles of Senior Manager of Laundry Product Development and Expat Lead Engineer at Whirlpool Mexico. In these positions, they contributed to the development of laundry products and provided technical expertise.

Raul Garcia Martinez earned their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering from ITESM Monterrey in 1987. Raul later pursued a Global MBA at Thunderbird School in Phoenix, completing it in 2003. In 2008, Raul obtained a Master's in Science Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas Austin/Cimav.
