Marco de Jong

Marco de Jong is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and project management within the infrastructure and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Business Development Manager and Senior Project Manager at Vialis, Marco has been responsible for product development and acceptance for systems related to ProRail and Rijkswaterstaat. Previous roles include CISO and Manager Ontwerp, overseeing various engineering teams and ensuring adherence to cybersecurity standards. Marco's career highlights also encompass leadership positions at BAM Infratechniek Mobiliteit and VolkerWessels Infra Competence Centre, as well as project management for significant infrastructure projects. Additionally, Marco contributes to the academic field as part of the Commission of Oversight for the Electrical Engineering bachelor's program at Hogeschool Utrecht and serves as a member of the NEN NEC44 committee.
