Amanda Mills has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Amanda'smost recent role is as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Viam, Inc., a Series A startup founded by the co-founder and former CTO of MongoDB. At Viam, they are involved in building a groundbreaking robotics development platform that allows engineers to configure robots using standardized building blocks instead of custom code. This approach enables businesses to bring their robotics deployments to market faster and at a lower cost while leveraging cloud services like AI, ML, and advanced analytics.

Prior to joining Viam, Amanda worked as a Technical Recruiter at MongoDB from 2018 to 2022. Amanda'sresponsibilities involved sourcing and recruiting technical talent. Before MongoDB, they served as a Technical Recruiter at Google for two years, specializing in hiring for various recruitment areas such as software engineering, security, privacy, and client-facing engineers for Google Cloud.

Amanda's early career includes experience as an Account Manager and Senior Technical Recruiter at Randstad Technologies US from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they managed client accounts and recruited technical professionals. Amanda also worked as an Assistant Director of Admissions-Recruiter at The Art Institute of Charlotte from 2010 to 2012.
