Ales Florez

Ales Florez has a robust background in software engineering, holding various roles in different companies since 2008. Ales started as a Software Developer at IT-Matica in 2008 and progressed to Senior Software Developer at ilimitada S.A.S in 2009. Ales then worked as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at It-Matica in 2013 and as a Senior Software Developer at MVM Ingeniería de software S.A.S in 2014. Ales also served as a Profesor universitario at Politénico Colombiano 'Jaime Isaza Cadavid' from 2015 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at Viamericas Corporation, starting in 2021.

Ales Florez completed a degree in Tecnología en sistemas with a field of study in Software Development at Institución Universitaria - Tecnológico de Antioquia from 2002 to 2004. Ales then pursued a degree in Ingeniero with a field of study in Informatico at Politécnico Colombiano 'Jaime Isaza Cadavid' from 2005 to 2010. In 2014, they obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including MCPS, MS: Programming in C#, and Programming in C# Specialist. Ales also holds a certification in MCTS SQL Server 2008 Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance.
