Lauren Smith, CPP PHR, serves as the Director of Total Rewards and HR Operations at Viant Medical since November 2018. Previously, Lauren held multiple senior management roles at Medtronic from September 2010 to October 2018, including Sr. Manager of HR Shared Services, where oversight of a bi-lingual HR call center was a key responsibility. Additionally, Lauren contributed to HR transformation initiatives and managed payroll operations during significant organizational changes. Earlier experience includes the role of US Payroll Manager at PerkinElmer, Inc., directing payroll operations and compliance, as well as an HR/Payroll Administrator position at Mahon Communications. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Providence College, a Master's in Human Resources Management from Emmanuel College, and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources from Northeastern University.
