Pratik Patil

Pratik Patil has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and management roles. Pratik is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering at Viant Technology, where they lead and manages multiple big data projects involving various teams. Pratik supports their team in strategizing and finalizing development plans, as well as collaborating with senior product teams to refine product requirements. Prior to this, Pratik held positions at Viant Inc., Specific Media, the Rubicon Project, Fox Audience Network, Strategic Data Corp, USC - CREATE, and Norris Medical Library - USC. In these roles, they gained expertise in backend big data engineering, ad-serving technologies, web application development, and 3D simulation. Pratik has a strong background in Java, Shell, AWK, Perl, Mod-Perl, Apache::ASP modules, HTML, Javascript, AJAX libraries, and CSS.

Pratik Patil holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Pratik also earned a Master's degree in Computer Science (Multimedia and creative technologies) from the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2005.
