Axel Steenberg

Axel Steenberg is an experienced finance and maritime professional, currently serving as Business Controller at Viaplay Group since July 2024. Steenberg has held various roles, including Captain at Öppet Hav AB since March 2017 and M&A Associate at PHM Group from August 2023 to July 2024. Prior experience includes Associate in Transaction Services at PwC Sweden and Junior Operations Manager at Coeli. Steenberg's financial expertise is supported by a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance from Uppsala University. Additional maritime qualifications include an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certification.
