Erik Ghonyan

Erik Ghonyan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Erik is currently the Principal Android Engineer at Viaplay Group since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Android Engineer (Consultant) at Zettle by PayPal from October 2022 to December 2022. Erik also has extensive experience at Spotify, where they served as a Senior Android Engineer from March 2020 to September 2022, and as an Android Engineer from February 2017 to March 2020. Before Spotify, Erik was a Co-Founder and Senior Android Engineer at InConcept Labs from May 2014 to February 2017. Erik also worked at Macadamian Technologies as a Senior Android Engineer from December 2013 to April 2015, and as an Android Engineer from March 2010 to December 2013. Erik started their career as a Software Engineer at Armenian Datacom Company (ADC) from May 2009 to March 2010, and at Lycos Europe from June 2008 to May 2009. Overall, Erik has a strong background in Android engineering, with progressively senior roles throughout their career.

Erik Ghonyan completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics & Informatics from Yerevan State University in 2009. Erik then pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics & Informatics in 2011.
