Amanda Kinney Ma

Amanda Kinney MA, MSN, LPC, RN, PMHNP-BC has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Amanda started their career as a Volunteer at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2013. Amanda then worked as a Counselor Intern at Family Service of Northwest Ohio from 2016 to 2017. In 2015, they worked as a Graduate Assistant at Bowling Green State University, fulfilling the roles of Graduate Assistant - Academic Mentor and Graduate Assistant. Amanda also gained experience as a Research Clinician at Yale University School of Medicine from March 2018 to September 2018.

Amanda has significant experience in psychiatric nursing, as they were a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Intern at both the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from 2018 to 2019, and at Yale Behavioral Health Services from 2019 to 2020. Amanda continued their psychiatric nursing career as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at ViaQuest, Inc. starting in July 2020. Amanda later took on the role of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Team Lead from February 2022 to October 2023. Currently, they serve as the Clinical Director of Nurse Practitioners at ViaQuest, Inc., starting in October 2023.

Amanda Kinney has a diverse education history. In 2010-2015, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University. Following that, from 2015-2017, they pursued a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Bowling Green State University. Later, they attended Yale University School of Nursing from 2017-2020, obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing specialized in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In addition to their academic achievements, Amanda holds various certifications: Certified Nurse Practitioner from Ohio Nursing Board, Licensed Professional Counselor from Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, & Marriage and Family Therapist Board, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from American Nurses Credentialing Center, and Registered Nurse from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health.
