Andrew Kern

Andrew Kern is currently an Employee Engagement Specialist at Viasat. Andrew was previously a Senior HR Consultant & I/O Psychologist at CPS HR Consulting from January 2015 to July 2020. There, they managed the full project lifespan of several projects focusing on the development, delivery, and analysis of organizational development, employee engagement, and leadership assessment tools. Andrew also conducted and reported on focus groups and action-planning workshops designed to link survey results to strategic initiatives and meaningful change management. In addition, they delivered both project kickoff and final results presentations to client executive teams, as well as engaged in thought leadership by reporting on research findings in writing and by presenting at conferences, such as SIOP. Furthermore, they established long-lasting client relationships through the delivery of exemplary customer service and hands-on partnership throughout the project lifespan. Lastly, they developed and maintained strong working relationships with external vendors to continuously evaluate opportunities for organizational growth in terms of revenue, client deliverables, and internal talent development.

Andrew Kern received a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Central Michigan University. Andrew also holds a B.S. in Psychology, Sociology, and Management from the University of Southern Indiana. Andrew is currently a Ph.D. student in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Central Michigan University.
